Six Months Old!

Today Ella is six months old . . . and she is growing and growing! She weighed in at 20 pounds, 3 ounces yesterday at her doctor's appointment. She is sitting up on her own, but she will fall over if she loses her balance. She loves to stand up with help, and she often stiffens her legs to stand when we try to get her to sit up. So far, Ella has tried carrots, squash, and pears. Tomorrow she will try applesauce. She winced a little at the pears, but she likes carrots and squash for sure.

Here is a little video of Ella doing her favorite "tricks" . . .

Vanessa's First Birthday!

On Sunday Ella helped her cousin Vanessa celebrate her first birthday at her home in Livermore. Even though it was hot, the food was delicious and the company was fun. Ella hung out on a blanket in the shade. Here is Ella with Mom and Aunt Toni is in the background.

Ella and Vanessa had a great time catching up and gossiping about their mothers :)

Here Vanessa is whispering her secret to keeping Daddy and Grandpa wrapped around her little finger while Ella checks out her cute dress.

Jennifer encourages Vanessa to just dive in, but Vanessa isn't sure about this . . .

Before . . .

. . . and after!!! Does anybody have a wetwipe??

Jennifer and Brian were not spared from the mess . . . but who could resist that face!

Vegas Baby!

This past weekend, Nonna, Aunt Tracey, Mommy, Daddy, and Ella piled into the family vanster and made the 9 hour car ride to Las Vegas. Here is Ella waving goodbye to Stockton . . .

Here is Ella with Aunt Tracey in the new Wynn hotel lobby. With all of the flowers and mosaic tile floors, it was a feast for the eyes!

Here is Ella playing in her gym and on the bed in our room. She needed some down-time after walking around the strip.

On Saturday night, we all went to Henderson to see Stacy and Gabriel--Ella had a fun time at dinner.

Here is Ella on Mother's Day at Bellagio with Aunt Tracey and Nonna in the background. Nonna wasn't feeling well because she got food poisoning the first night we arrived.

Our first Mother's Day . . .

On Sunday night, the older ladies had a blast at the Cher concert at Caesar's Palace.
